We make SerpKite
Summary
The short version
DataForSEO offers a standard queue at $0.60 per 1k (about 5 minutes), priority at $1.20 and live at $2.00, plus a large catalogue of SEO datasets. SerpKite is real-time by default, and its batch lane costs 0.5 credits (≤ 15 minutes, webhooks).
Choose DataForSEO if…
- You need SEO datasets beyond SERPs: keywords, backlinks, on-page, domain analytics.
- You need Bing, YouTube, Baidu or Naver today.
- You already run a queue-based pipeline built around their task API.
Choose SerpKite if…
- You need results in about a second, not minutes: agents, UIs, live tools.
- You want real-time at a lower price than their live mode ($0.80 vs $2.00 per 1k at entry).
- You run bulk jobs: the batch lane gives $0.30–$0.50 per 1k effective, at or under their $0.60 standard queue.
-
You want LLM-ready output: Markdown, compact JSON and
fields=projection.

Verdict
Our take
For an SEO platform that needs keyword and backlink data too, DataForSEO is hard to replace. For real-time Google results in agents and apps, SerpKite is faster and cheaper than their live mode; for bulk SERPs the batch lane is on par with their queue and much faster.
